A sensitive architectural approach was adopted to preserve and celebrate the existing heritage building, ensuring its historical value remains intact while enhancing its relevance within a contemporary context. The site has been thoughtfully opened up to create a welcoming and permeable environment, inviting movement and engagement from the surrounding community.

The design introduces elongated façade elements that act as natural air filters, improving environmental quality while contributing to the building’s visual identity. Given the depth of the plot, a strong inner courtyard becomes the central organizing element, allowing ample sunlight to penetrate deep into the structure and creating a vibrant spatial core.
